Should I Print Brochures?

This is a tough one.  And of course the best answer is, "it depends." But for most people, I say NO.  (and I know my printer friends won't like this). It's not because I think print is dead.  As a matter of fact, print can work better (because fewer people are using it). BEFORE PRINTING ANYTHING, YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER THESE 2 THINGS: Do you have good copy? Can you get your printed material into the right hands? LinkedIn’s New Look: Where’s My Search?!

I don't know if you were like me.  But when they changed the layout of LinkedIn, I thought 'oh great!'  I was thinking, another thing I need to learn or adapt to.  pretty pathetic seeing that this is what I do for a living. And I know when I spoke to others they were the same way. LinkedIn has increased some of it's functionality (and brought back stuff that went missing).  And LinkedIn has lost some of it's functionality. But change is inevitable. LinkedIn uses Boolean search (similar to Google). What is Boolean search?  Here's the definition from Webopedia.com. Boolean search is a type of search allowing users to combine keywords with operators (or modifiers) such as AND, NOT and OR to further produce more relevant results. So why should you care?  Because Boolean search allows you to create search functions that get you exactly what you want. Here are a few ways to master Boolean search.
