Don’t Buy Radio…Unless You Do This!  Radio is a powerful tool.  And it reaches a massive audience.

When done well, it performs GREAT.

But done incorrectly, you might as well burn money.

You need to know:

  • who you are trying to reach (who is your ideal client)
  • are these people listeners of this station
  • what are their concerns
  • what message do they want to hear
  • what action do you want them to take

You need to have the funds to continue your plan for a minimum of 6 months.

And you NEED to track EVERY lead that comes in through just the radio.  You do this by using a different phone number and a different website link.  Your radio salesperson may try to discourage you from doing this.  DON’T LISTEN!  This is the only way to tell if your radio is actually making you money or costing you money.  Ad salespeople like to talk about ‘exposure’ and ‘name recognition.’  But you will GO BROKE if you continue to pay for exposure and not for leads/sales.
